Put a piece of foil UNDER your ironing board cover so you get heat from the iron and heat reflecting back up from the bottom!

Put a piece of foil UNDER your ironing board cover (I put the dull side up) then put the ironing board cover back on, I want to emphasize UNDER the cover so there is something between the iron and the foil, you get the heat from the iron on top but you also get the heat reflecting back up from the bottom. Essentially you are ironing both sides of your piece of clothing at one time without having to turn it over. Just be careful, the surface of the ironing board can get hot.

Replace cover and iron as usual!

  2. A decent ironing board additionally has additional highlights, to make ironing simpler. These incorporate 'sleeves', which are around 2 feet long and 6 to 8 inches wide, joined to the board, for ironing sleeves and little things of dress.
