My new favorite thing - Sandwich Thins!

Don't you hate it when you're eating a burger and the bun is so big you end up tearing off most of it and picking apart the entire thing. Either that or you feel bloated after forcing it all down. A while back I was having lunch with my co-worker who's looking smokin hot after losing a ton of weight. As I chowed down my chicken strips and fries she ate a little sandwich with this little tiny bread. Needless to say my curiosity was peaked.

I picked some up at the store, my first sandwich was PB & J. It was so thin my co-worker said it looked like a pancake. Perhaps PB & J wasn't the best choice. You couldn't even tell there was anything in there. I wasn't so sure about these sandwich thins.

At my house we eat turkey burgers and my husband can't eat bread so I typically don't buy buns. You wouldn't believe the stares I got when I took my 3 year old to a birthday party where they served burgers and I had to explain to him how to eat it and hold it together. It's tough to use them before they go bad and they just dry out if I freeze them. If I get the little cheap buns the burger sticks out all around it, if I get the big ones I end up tearing off most of it as it's just too much bread. Well I had an epiphany and thought about my Sandwich Thins.

This was the best idea. They taste great, they are just the right amount of bread, big enough to cover the burger and they are pretty good for you. It's also perfect for my son who can do without all that extra filler.

We are hooked! Check out tonight's dinner, it's was quick burger night tonight.

Whole Wheat, 90 calories total for the top and bottom pieces, 6 grams of fiber compared to the 90 calories per slice of my 100% Whole Wheat Bread with only 2 grams of fiber. (I don't have the stats on regular buns) I also notice they don't mold as quickly, I think it's because they are pretty dense.

Have you tried them? What did you think?
